Youth IMPACT 2026

Teens: bring your youth group or a friend for a dynamic 20 hours at Appalachian Bible College. The weekend will be filled with group games, worshipful music, engaging skits, food and prizes, and hopefully a little sleep. But the heart of IMPACT is three focused sessions when you'll be challenged and encouraged by studies in God's Word.

Guest Speaker: Alex Eichhorn

Pastor Alex grew up as a pastor’s kid in a small church in Western Maryland. Throughout his early years, he was able to observe and participate in ministry through Kids Clubs, Youth Group, and even Sunday morning worship on the praise team. In his early years observing his father’s ministry, God called his family to serve at Appalachian Bible College in the Youth and Family program. While attending VBS (at his local church in WV) in 2006, Pastor Alex gave his life over to God and accepted the free gift of salvation offered through Jesus Christ.

Shortly after his spiritual birthday, Pastor Alex moved back with his family to Western MD where his father still faithfully serves in ministry. Upon graduating high school, Pastor Alex attended a local community college to play soccer and work on general education courses. During COVID, God was working in his heart and the following school year, he found himself at Appalachian Bible College. In the spring of 2023, he graduated with a degree in Bible/Theology and Interdisciplinary.

After graduation, Pastor Alex paired with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cumberland, MD as a Pastoral Intern. In the summer of 2024, he officially came on staff as the Family Life Ministries pastor. His role is primarily to lead the Young Adults/College Age ministry and assist the children’s education ministry.

In addition to serving at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Pastor Alex is a sports chaplain for his former high school, and he coaches Varsity Boys Soccer, JV Boys Basketball, and Boys/Girls Tennis.

Some hobbies that he enjoys include playing guitar, going to the gym, doing pickup sports (since his days of organized sports are over), watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with friends and family.
