ABC News
We are so grateful for the number of ABC students devoting their summer to camp ministry!
Anna is another one of our current students serving at a Christian camp this summer! She requests prayer that she would rely on the Lord for strength and energy, as well as for opportunities to reach out to campers to share the gospel.
Student teaching is a highlight for our Elementary Education majors preparing to serve the Lord in the educational field. Claire, a recent graduate from the Elementary Education major, shares some of what she learned throughout her student teaching experience. ⬇️
"My semester of student teaching was a wonderful conclusion to my college experience at ABC. I received hands-on experience teaching a variety of subjects and age groups, and I grew so much through the mentorship of my fantastic host teachers. I'm thankful that my training at ABC emphasized Biblical integration, meeting individual student needs, and collaborating with others. Through this experience, God truly taught me that He is good and faithful and will lead me wherever I go in the future!"

This summer is all about camp ministry for Scott, as he serves as a counselor and on programming staff at Trail Ridge Camp. He praises the Lord for financial provisions in his travels, and asks for prayer that the campers through the summer would be responsive to God's Word.
We love to see our students serving in a variety of ways! Kara is supervising the kitchen staff at camp, as well as participating in discipleship/mentoring opportunities. Pray that as she completes her summer internship, she would be consistent in her personal devotional/prayer time, and that she would be flexible in her many roles at camp.
ABC is saddened to learn of the financial difficulties facing Clarks Summit University. Their role in preparing young men and women for ministry over the past nine decades has been invaluable. We are praying for all of the staff and students, and for God to accomplish His will through these challenging times.
Although Appalachian Bible College may not have the academic programs to provide for all Clarks Summit students, we want to be of service in any way possible. For any CSU or Baptist Bible Seminary students who have a desire for a Bible and ministry-focused degree, we invite you to apply (abc.edu/apply) and we will seek to expedite your application process in time for the fall semester.
Any transfer students who complete the application process may also be eligible for our BIG Scholarship: 100% of tuition covered. For more info, see abc.edu/big.
